About Us
Baxter’s was founded in 1979 by David Baxter, opening as a High Street shop in Hull. With decades of retail experience, the business has adapted to many changes in the marketplace while maintaining a strong commitment to quality products and excellent customer service.
As online shopping grew in popularity, we expanded in 2005 by launching our mail order company, BaxtersOnline. With the continued loyalty and support of customers across the UK, the business grew significantly and established a strong online presence.
In line with changing retail trends, we closed our High Street shop at the end of 2011 to focus fully on our online and mail order operations. This transition allowed us to invest in larger storage facilities, enabling us to stock a vast range of products and brands.
Today, Baxter’s is very much a family-run business. David is joined by his two sons, his daughter-in-law, and his granddaughter, ensuring the values and personal service the company was built on remain at the heart of everything we do. David continues to be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
