Height of First Doll is approx. 13cm then decreasing in size for the rest. This is the world famous Genuine Matryoshka Russian Doll with more than a hundred years of tradition. The very first Matryoshka doll was made in the 1880’s. A wooden girl in a brightly patterned sarafan and a kerchief attracts attention and brings a smile to your face. The doll splits in two and reveals another doll, which also splits in two, and there is yet another one. And so on. The material used is Russian silver birch or lime tree. Due to the nature of this item being Handmade & Painted some items may differ slightly from photo.
